A MAP TO VETERANS' MEMORIAL PARK
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Dogs are PROHIBITED at the Vets Park soccer complex, on or off a leash.
Please do not bring your dog. Thank you for your cooperation.
COMING SOUTH FROM SAN JOSE:
Take Highway 101 South past Gilroy. Take the Highway 25 exit towards Hollister. Follow Highway 25 for about 10 miles. When it "ends", turn right onto San Benito Street. At the third stop light turn left onto 4th Street (which turns into Meridian). Follow Meridian for about 2-3 miles. Just past Maze Junior High, turn right onto Memorial Drive. The park will be on your left about a mile ahead, just past Hillcrest Road. Cross Hillcrest and then turn left into the parking lot. Once in the parking lot, the soccer fields are on the far right-hand side of the park behind the skate park, basketball and BMX track. Park near the skate park and walk behind the baseball field to the soccer field.
COMING FROM SANTA CRUZ:
Highway 1 South to Watsonville. Take the Highway 129/Riverside Road exit. Follow Highway 129 all the way until you come to Highway 101. Take Highway 101 South. Take the Highway 156 exit towards San Juan Bautista/Hollister. Follow Highway 156 past San Juan Bautista and into Hollister. About 1 mile past the Union Road intersection, bear right onto San Juan Road and follow it into town. San Juan Road turns into 4th Street. Stay on 4th street through town. Once 4th Street crosses San Benito Street it turns into Meridian St.. Follow Meridian about 2-3 miles. Just past Maze Middle School turn right on Memorial Drive. The park will be on your left about a mile ahead, just past Hillcrest Road. Cross Hillcrest and then turn left into the parking lot. Once in the parking lot, the new soccer fields are on the far right-hand side of the park behind the new skate park and BMX track. Park near the skate park and walk behind the baseball field to the soccer field.
COMING NORTH FROM SALINAS:
Highway 101 North. Take the Highway 156 exit towards San Juan Bautista/Hollister. About 1 mile past the Union Road intersection, bear right onto San Juan Road and follow it into town. San Juan Road turns into 4th Street. Stay on 4th street through town. Once 4th Street crosses San Benito Street it turns into Meridian St.. Follow Meridian about 2-3 miles.
